Intentional Community

Men’s ministry

“Be watchful, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong. Let all that you do be done in love.” –1 Corinthians 16:13–14

CHICAGO WEST MEN'S RETREAT

Getting away to refocus on Jesus together

Men, this is a significant opportunity for us to get away together for a refocus on Jesus for 24 hours. We are praying for and anticipating three powerful sessions with two strong speakers who love Jesus. During breakouts and discussions, we will share with each other how God is shaping and transforming us.

In addition, there will be team competitions to keep us hyped in various ways as well as a huge gymnasium with all-night access. This will all take place on a beautiful property along the Fox River in St. Charles, IL, only an hour from Chicago West church, which will provide opportunities for personal time inside and outside. This is an all-inclusive retreat including three meals which will kick off on Friday evening.

We believe God has determined this weekend to be our first ever men’s retreat to seek after Him to move in and through us!

Grow and connect

Chicago West is deeply committed to serving, growing, and developing men who are after God’s heart. Discipleship within community is what we are about and going after. If you are looking to connect with other godly men who can sharpen you, love you, and walk with you, we would love to hear from you. We are excited to meet you!

Men’s Ministry Mission

We meet up as men to build intentional community in Jesus Christ. Our compelling men’s events enable men to start and continue to grow in their connection at Chicago West. We know we need each other in the body of Christ to “act like men” for the glory of God!

Who do we seek to be?

  • Men who are being transformed by Christ and sharing the good news of Christ.
  • Men who are servant leaders and are focused on discipleship.
  • Men who understand that their “real life” is not lived in their own strength and independence, but in seeking the Lord daily.
  • Men who read the Bible and pray for their family and others everyday.
  • Men who know they WILL FAIL at these pursuits and need others to run with them, and help lift them up again, as they participate within the local body of Christ.
